Play based learning or Kinesthetic learning is a type of early childhood education based on child-led and open-ended play. In this approach, children are taught necessary skills via play activities. The play activities lay the foundation for a child to become a curious learner for life.
Play is sometimes self-chosen and sometimes planned. However, it is, the little ones learn a lot from every kind of play. Play is not just an outlet for children to remain busy and release energy, it is a way for them to explore and find out who they are and what they like or don't like. Their minds are constantly developing therefore being in a non-restricted and playful environment helps them grow better.
