When children struggle with particular subjects, it highlights the lack of understanding of the basics. Radhika has been observing the struggle of many children and parents for a long time. So, she was determined to bring up a solution and thus ‘Kephie’ was born. Kephie (/greek) means abundant happiness within! When a child is happy s/he learns and understands better. Child Psychology emphasises “Happiness” and “Feeling safe” at the centre of learning and development, in the right manner. Kephie is a Play school that has a unique curriculum which goes step by step ensuring each child understands the concepts and doesn’t mug them up. It’s called a Play school because of the utmost importance Play has in the early years. Each concept is made easy and is play-based to keep the children actively engaged, happy and stress free, so they can enjoy the process of learning and go on to become curious learners throughout life!
Our passion is for each child to get equal opportunities and each child to enjoy the process of learning, so they are not afraid to learn and acquire knowledge or experience at any future stage. We believe in the learning process to be joyful and not that of pressure. The foundation for being a lifelong learner is laid in the formative years of one’s life and to lay a correct foundation, balancing all skills (Language, Numeracy, Logical reasoning, critical thinking & Life skills) and making optimum use of the hidden potential of each child to learn, understand and connect with real life; is the mission of Kephie. The curriculum is well planned and balanced. It covers the standard Academic syllabus for all 3 years of Kindergarten, and provides much more than academic content. Kephie Books is a brainchild of her vision and innovation. The books are especially designed in the L.S.R.W sequence which are instrumental not only in reading, writing but also in building vocabulary and are also favourable to develop and induce independent and self-reliant problem-solving skills, critical thinking, logical reasoning.
